$18.31-23.36/hour

The Ossining Public Library is seeking a dynamic, creative Graphics Illustrator to promote our programs and services.

Key responsibilities of the Graphics Illustrator include:

• Designing and producing displays, posters, signs and flyers
• Designing and producing calendars and newsletters
• Creating original art for bookmarks, flyers, announcements and programs
• Designing web pages using software tools

Position requirements:

• Good knowledge of the tools, techniques and terminology associated with the field of graphic illustration
• Familiarity with the design and maintenance of a website
• Ability to develop and design visual aids

Minimum training and experience:
Graduation from high school or GED and 2 years of experience in graphic illustration work
OR
Completion of 2-year post high school coursework in art, graphic design or related field
OR
Satisfactory equivalent combination of the above training and experience
